Campus Update, Oct. 11, 2024
Dear colleagues and students,
Wayfinding Signage: The 91ÀÏ˾»ú – Fort Smith, using funds from the 91ÀÏ˾»ú Foundation, is investing in new signage for our campus. Recently, we removed several old signs, and we will be installing new signs in a variety of high traffic areas later this month. I have attached a graphic which demonstrates the look and sizes of the signs. We will begin with placing signs at the entrance to our campus from Grand Avenue, and we will add some internal signs for buildings. Unfortunately, we do not have enough funding to replace all signs on campus, but we will use this sign standard when new signs are added or when signs are replaced. A big thanks to Chris Kelly, AVC for Marketing and Communication, for his work to design and select the signs as well as to our professionals in Plant Operations for removal of old signs and placement of the new ones.
I extend my thanks to the Lion Leadership class of 2024 for their work to plan and implement the employee self-care fair today. This program was an excellent opportunity for our employees to focus on caring for themselves physically, emotionally, and socially.
For those of you attending the Peacemaker Festival this weekend, be safe and have a great time. I may also see you at the Fort Smith Symphony performance tomorrow night. There are always so many fun things to do in and around our community. Enjoy this beautiful weekend, Lions!
Respectfully,
Terisa Riley
