Campus Update, Dec. 13
Dear colleagues and students,
You made it! This is the last day of the semester, and our graduates are excited for their big commencement day tomorrow. Congratulations to all of our graduates!
Spotlight on Strategic Plan:
Pillar 2: Teaching and Learning, Strategy 2.3 Academic Resource Development and Space Utilization, Strategy 1: Expand access to physical and digital resources that promote scholarly and creative end endeavors.
Early this spring, I will collaborate with our newly formed Center for Teaching and Learning to announce a technology mini-grant application and process which will be open to all faculty and staff on campus. The proposals will support one-time technology requests up to $10,000 for 5-10 applicants. More will be announced in late January!
A big thank you to the Jazz Catz for Christmas caroling on campus today. Those of us who had the opportunity to hear you sincerely enjoyed this outstanding concert. As I said, I would give all of you an A on this final exam!
As the semester closes, I take time to reflect on how special this place is to me and to all of us. Many conversations have led me back to this important thought: Our students are incredibly talented, bright, hard-working people who deserve the best that life has to offer, and I feel so fortunate to work with colleagues who support the mission of this place each and every day. Thanks to each of you for all you do to support this institution and for choosing 91老司机.
With all respect and best wishes,
Terisa Riley
