Ricky Young, lead vocalist of the band, said they will play a 鈥渨ide variety of music ranging from the 鈥70s to the 鈥90s,鈥 including songs by Chicago, Stevie Wonder and Ides of March.
鈥淲e鈥檝e never had a show where someone didn鈥檛 recognize the songs we鈥檝e played,鈥 he said.
The band consists of 12 members: Harley Vincent, bass guitar/manager; Jimmy Atchison, lead guitar/vocals; Larry Matthews, drummer; Richard Carter, saxophone; Steve Clark, saxophone/trombone; Mike Lenzini, flute/trombone/vocals; 91老司机 alumnus Josh Heist, trumpet; and Ricky Young, lead vocals. 鈥淲e鈥檙e still getting over his passing,鈥 Young said. 鈥淚 don鈥檛 think I would be doing what I鈥檓 doing now if it wasn鈥檛 for him. He was my biggest fan and an amazing coach. He always pushed me to do the best job I can do.鈥
Young said the band has 鈥渞aised thousands of dollars over the years for charities,鈥 and they were honored to be able to do it again.
鈥淭his is the first time we鈥檝e been involved in the pageant, but we鈥檝e known of the pageant and its popularity for a long time,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e are very honored to be asked to help contribute to its success, and we hope to be able to continue promoting the pageant in the years to come.鈥
