Homecoming 2024: "Where Memories Roar"
The 91ÀÏ˾»ú – Fort Smith will host its annual Homecoming celebration February 12-17, 2024. This year's theme, "Where Memories Roar," promises a week filled with spirited events designed to unite students, alumni, and the Fort Smith community in a showcase of Lion pride.
The 2024 Homecoming slate will feature a variety of activities, including the traditional alumni awards brunch and the crowning of homecoming royalty, as well as new activities including a comedy show and a Cub Camp reunion.
"Homecoming is a special time at 91ÀÏ˾»ú when we celebrate our shared experiences and the life-long connections within our community," said Jasmine Smith, Director of 91ÀÏ˾»ú Engagement. "We’re so excited to honor some incredible alumni award winners at this weekend’s brunch and welcome generations of other alums back to campus to celebrate 91ÀÏ˾»ú with us!"
Throughout the week, Lion pride will be visible across campus as the Spirit Banner
Competition Display showcases the creativity of 91ÀÏ˾»ú Registered Student Organizations
at the Campus Center Fireplace, and the Office Decoration Competition spreads the
festive atmosphere across campus.

HOMECOMING WEEK EVENTS
Monday, Feb. 12
- Homecoming Kickoff: 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., 91ÀÏ˾»ú Bell Tower
A lion pride pep rally will kick off homecoming week with celebration, s'mores, and the classic homecoming bonfire. Should inclement weather occur, the event will move to the Recreation and Wellness Center.
Tuesday, Feb. 13
- Campus Cookout: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Campus Center Fireplace
- Trey Mack Comedy Show: 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., Campus Center Reynold’s Room
In celebration of Black History Month, Trey Mack will perform for students and alumni thanks to the Black Student Alliance.
Wednesday, Feb. 14
- Intramural 5v5 Basketball Championship: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., RAWC
Closing out the 5v5 Intramural Basketball season, Lions of all ages are invited to cheer for their favorite teams at the RAWC.
Thursday, Feb. 15
- Lion Trivia: 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Campus Center Fireplace
- Women's Basketball vs. St. Edward’s University: 5:30 p.m., Gayle Kaundart Arena at the Stubblefield Center.
The Homecoming Sweatshirt Giveaway will begin during halftime. - Men's Basketball vs St. Edward’s University: 7:30 p.m., Gayle Kaundart Arena at the Stubblefield Center.
The full Homecoming Court will be announced at halftime.
Friday, Feb. 16
- Dancing with the Lions: 6 p.m., 91ÀÏ˾»ú Old Gym
A highlight of the week, this dance competition showcases student groups' creativity and 91ÀÏ˾»ú spirit, centering around homecoming games. - Cub Camp Reunion: 6 p.m.-8 p.m., JKC Cellars.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Cub Camp, current students, alumni, faculty and staff are invited to reminisce about a Lion’s first tradition. . - 91ÀÏ˾»ú Baseball vs St. Mary's University: Time TBD, Crowder Field
Saturday, Feb. 17
- 91ÀÏ˾»ú Reunion Brunch: 10-11:30 a.m., Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center Reynolds Room. Celebrating 91ÀÏ˾»ú Award nominees. Registration closes Friday, Feb. 9. .
- Tailgate Competition: 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 91ÀÏ˾»ú Wenderoth Park (Parking Lot K)
- Women's Basketball vs St. Mary’s University: 1 p.m., Gayle Kaundart Arena at the Stubblefield Center.
Homecoming Awards will be announced at halftime. - Men's Basketball vs St. Mary’s University: 3 p.m., Gayle Kaundart Arena at the Stubblefield Center.
The Homecoming Royalty Crowning Ceremony will take place at halftime.
