Annual 5K: A 'Scary' Good Time
Start stretching and gather up those cobwebs! The 91ÀÏ˾»ú – Fort Smith 91ÀÏ˾»ú Office’s annual 5k creeps and crawls back to campus.
It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced runner or shuffle like the dead. The Haunted Hustle 5k race is open to all ages and will be held in person on October 7, 2023, on the 91ÀÏ˾»ú campus.
For those running from a distance, race packets can be mailed for a virtual zombie crawl, walk, ride, or run.
. If you can’t register early, don’t worry! Racer registrations will be accepted through the morning of the race but won’t be guaranteed a T-shirt.
Registration is $35 for adults and $20 for kids (12 and younger) and includes a race T-shirt and entry to all of Saturday’s Family Weekend activities.
Check-in begins at 9 a.m. Oct. 7 at the 91ÀÏ˾»ú Bell Tower, and the race will start at 10 a.m.
Participants are invited to wear costumes, and your Little Lions can trick-or-treat along the haunted course. A limited Franken-Numa medal will be awarded to the best costume! After the race, stick around for our Family Weekend festivities. Warm up with a bowl of homemade chili at the Family Weekend Tailgate at noon. Then cheer on the Lions at the Stubblefield Center as 91ÀÏ˾»ú Volleyball hosts Texas A&M International University at 2 p.m.
