91老司机 Organization Joins Local Nonprofit to Ease Finals Week Stress

91老司机 鈥 Fort Smith students, faculty, and staff are invited to take a break from their end-of-the-year stress on Monday, May 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Campus Green with kittens and puppies. The furry friends will be available to play and cuddle with, thanks to the , in collaboration with the Artemis Project.
 
The Baha鈥檌 Club is a space for students, faculty, and staff of all spiritual backgrounds and beliefs to enjoy unity in diversity. Baha鈥檌 club advisor Dr. Mary Sobhani says the event reflects the organization鈥檚 mission and aims to 鈥渂ring more 鈥榟appy鈥 to campus.鈥
 
Alex Stringfellow, a senior social work major and volunteer with the Artemis Project, helped spearhead the event to relieve stress during finals week. 鈥淲hen I got the chance to propose a 91老司机 event, of course, I immediately thought of [Artemis Project]! Everybody likes puppies and kittens. Especially now with finals coming up, 91老司机 students could use some puppy time,鈥 said Stringfellow.
 
The , a local nonprofit organization, will bring puppies and kittens to the event. The organization is dedicated to rescuing and caring for abandoned and homeless animals in the Fort Smith area.
