is an artist, printmaker, and book maker living in Fort Smith. Jay received his B.F.A. in printmaking from the Savannah College of Art and Design and M.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Jay has taught in and maintained printmaking, letterpress, book arts, and papermaking studios at Savannah College of Art and Design, University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, Penland School of Craft, and Florida State University Small Craft Advisory Press. He is currently the director of book arts at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith.
